Raw meat can carry bacteria like Salmonella or E. coli, but the risk is extremely low when handled properly. At Raw Pack, we minimize that risk through strict food safety protocols at every stage.
Our ingredients are sourced from CFIA- and OMAFRA-inspected facilities, maintained under a controlled cold chain, and treated with natural bacteriophages that target harmful bacteria without affecting nutritional quality. Every batch is also produced under a HACCP-certified food safety program with ongoing testing and sanitation controls.
While dogs are generally more resistant to these bacteria, we still recommend safe handling at home, including washing hands, cleaning surfaces, and proper storage.
