Raw Pet Food: Ingredients & Nutrition
At Raw Pack, the ingredients we use in our Canadian raw pet food are clean and traceable from CFIA- and OMAFRA-inspected human-grade farms. This means quality food that plays a specific role in raw dog food nutrition and supports your dog’s overall health. No fillers or artificial additives.
Natural Ingredients Sourced in Canada
Raw feeding requires peace of mind, knowing your dog is eating meat from facilities that share the same standards as those that supply your grocery store.
Our fresh, raw food for dogs is made using fresh Canadian-sourced ingredients from farmers and growers who follow the NFACC Animal Care Program guidelines to ensure strong animal care and food quality. Canadian sourcing means shorter supply chains, fresher, traceable ingredients from farm to bowl.
The Raw Pack Ingredients
Meat
Meat forms the base of our raw dog meal because chicken and turkey muscle meat are a good source of protein, supporting muscle strength and tissue repair for energy throughout the day. It also makes the food appealing, easy to digest, and interesting when it comes to flavour.
Organ Meat
Organs such as the liver, heart, and kidneys are loaded with important vitamins that dogs need, which muscle meat alone cannot offer. These include vitamin E, A, D, and B-complex. They enhance immunity, health, metabolism, vision, cellular functions, and form an integral nutrition for a complete raw diet.
Bones
No other ingredient offers the calcium, phosphorus, and natural minerals that are as important for better bone density, stronger teeth, and healthy joints as bones do. In a balanced raw diet, bones can also help maintain firm stools and smooth digestion.
Fruits & Vegetables
Fruits and vegetables safe for dogs, like carrots, spinach, and cucumber, are utilized to raise fibre consumption and round out your dog's nutritional profile. These also add antioxidants and key vitamins to your buddy's diet.
Ingredient Ratios
- 50–60% meat for protein, amino acids, and healthy fats, which provide strength and energy.
- 5–10% organ meat for B vitamins and minerals.
- 15–20% bone for essential calcium, phosphorus, and extra minerals.
- 20% fruits & vegetables for fibre, antioxidants, and essential vitamins (C, A, K, and more).
